We’re here for you too

If someone you love needs help

The impact of addiction is far reaching. Parents, spouses, children, family and friends are all affected when someone you love is in bondage.

There is hope. The impact of recovery is also far reaching. We understand what you are going through and believe that as your loved one's life is transformed, so is yours.

We’re honored to serve your loved one. We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus and will treat your family member in the Resident Recovery Program like our family. They will be loved, supported, counseled, equipped and well-fed. We value your trust and believe your life is made better as your loved one recovers from addiction.

What the year looks like from the outside

The Resident Recovery Program is one year, in two stages of six months each: Restoration, then Growth. Days have a set shape of classes, counseling, worship and work.

The program page has more of the details.

Visiting your Family Member

Family visitation is encouraged during the recovery program. Our hope is to not only connect you with your family member, but to also support and equip you as a critical component to their recovery. Visits are offered:

  • On weekends during April and October
  • At graduation

Where you stay

His Mansion offers guest housing for your stay while visiting your family member. Visits are arranged by Residents through the Program Department.

About Resident Sponsors

Residents in the recovery program are required to have a sponsor while in the program. The journey of recovery is demanding. Residents receive care, support, and guidance from the staff at His Mansion.

However, sustainable recovery requires a broader support system: men and women who will walk with them during their time in the program and when they depart. Thus, we require that every Resident in our recovery program have a sponsor while in the program. Sponsors play a critical role in immediate and long-term support.

Sponsors partner with the ministry through prayer, encouragement, communication, and practical support. Sponsors are typically, although not always, family members. Additionally, sponsors agree to provide $50 monthly to their sponsored Resident for their personal needs.

“I write this just two weeks after welcoming a beautiful grandson into the world born to my daughter who's life was saved, transformed, and restored through her time on The Hill. There were many times I had little hope that I would ever see her healthy and happy much less thriving as a mother, wife and a woman after God's own heart.”
